ABOUT THIS POSITION
This $12-$15 per hour position is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys having fun and socializing with all types of people. Busby’s is looking for a part-time employee (less than 30 hours per week) to wear our “Buzz the Bee” mascot costume and act as the mascot assistant. This position, who will report to the Community Relations manager, will support various activities around the community.
DUTIES
DUTIES
- Wear the mascot costume at local community events, home shows, meetings, parades and high traffic locations
- Accompany the mascot during appearances and assist them during events
- Assist with basic upkeep of the mascot costumes
- Entertainment experience in a mascot role is preferred
- Must enjoy greeting and interacting with the public. Should have a positive personality
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have a flexible work schedule and be available to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
- Willing to travel within the Augusta area for events
